The Lark in the Morning

This is a great four-part jig to use all our techniques so far.
Listen to the chordal effect in the first part. The notes I play are, E, A, F#, A, G, A, B, E, B, G. One must have a clear knowledge of the tune to insert this type of improvisation, so as not to confuse the listener.

In part two I use my third finger to play the A on the fifth fret .The third part offers a good opportunity to practice your triplets.
I also use an improvisation that I've heard older Kerry, Cork fiddlers use in jigs and polkas. This sounds like a rushed triplet because it's used in a peculiar place in the melody.
